White River Connect now serving Spokane with high-speed internet
Branson, Missouri –White River Connect, a subsidiary of White River Valley Electric Cooperative, announced that high-speed internet service is now available in the Spokane service area including rural portions of Christian, Stone, and Taney counties.
“Our teams have been working hard to bring reliable, high-speed internet to more of our region, and we’re proud to be ahead of schedule as service becomes available in Spokane,” said CEO Beau Jackson. “Serving the people of Spokane and surrounding rural communities with the connectivity they need is an important part of our commitment. We look forward to completing this project and delivering long-term benefits to more families and businesses.”
Construction began on White River Connect in June of 2023 to offer broadband access in rural areas of Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, and Taney counties. The company began serving its first customers in March of 2024 and has continued expanding service across the region.
White River Connect is currently available in the Branson, Bear Creek, Bluewater, Clevenger Cove, Compton Ridge, Goodhope, Gretna, Lake, Paradise, Protem, Riverdale, Rockaway, Silver Dollar City, Kimberling City, Selmore, Stonebridge, Stultz, Sweden, Table Rock, Taneyville, Theodosia, and Wasola service areas.
The project is now 90% complete and is estimated to be finished by the end of summer 2026.
White River Connect’s high-speed fiber network offers symmetrical upload and download speeds, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone services, and options for homes and businesses.
